The Greenwall Foundation Turns 75

2024 marks the 75^th anniversary of The Greenwall Foundation. In 1949, Frank Greenwall and his wife Anna Alexander Greenwall established a small family foundation in memory of their daughter, Susan. In the decades since, the Foundation has grown and evolved in size, scope, and focus to become the impactful bioethics funder that it is today.

We have debuted an anniversary logo to mark the occasion, which you will see across our platforms. And we invite you to kick-off this anniversary year by reading more about the Foundation’s history, including our first 50 years, our Program in Arts and Humanities, and our early bioethics programs. We’ll be highlighting more historical milestones in the months ahead.
