Charmaine D. M. Royal, PhD, Associate Research Professor at the Duke Institute for Genome Sciences & Policy , was named one of three new faculty scholars in 2009. Her three-year award of $260,208 will support research on Ethics as a Guide for the Use of “Race” and Ancestry in Research and Clinical Practice.
